The Benalmadena Butterfly Garden is a must for nature lovers travelling to the Costa del Sol. This beautiful tropical garden is home to more than 1,500 exotic butterflies from all over the world. Visitors can observe the butterflies at all stages of their development and, if they are lucky, they may even see some of the butterflies emerging from their chrysalises. In addition, the Butterfly Farm also has an exhibition room with information on the biology, behaviour and the different species of butterflies that inhabit the place, which gives an account of the conservation work carried out by the institution.
