Cloakroom
Free of charge. Umbrellas, bulky bags and rucksacks are requested to be left behind. The cloakroom is located immediately after the lockers, to the right of the main hall on the ground floor.
Accessibility
The museum is fully accessible both at the entrance and on all exhibition floors, with ramps and lifts. The museum can be contacted in advance for special group visits.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza collection is difficult to match for variety and quality. We invite you to give it a try and play bingo in the museum: like an assortment of sweets, this museum has at least one work by the leading exponents of the History of Western Art. Of course... over the course of several decades, the barons (and baronesses!) of the Thyssen-Bornemisza family devoted themselves to completing the repertoire.
A stroll through its rooms is like a journey through the history of art, from Gothic to neo-avant-garde. But, above all, the Thyssen stands out for its collection of the different movements of the 19th and 20th centuries. However, you can still marvel at masterpieces by Duccio, Van Eyck, Dürer, Caravaggio, Rembrandt and Canaletto.
