Why should it be part of your tour?

Kutná Hora is located only 80 km from the Czech capital, and at one time disputed to be the centre of Bohemia due to its economic importance. This medieval town is known for its historic buildings, rich history and, of course, its famous St. Barbara's Cathedral and the Sedlec Ossuary.

The tour begins with a visit to the Sedlec Ossuary, a chapel that was built in the 14th century and used as a cemetery for many centuries. The chapel is famous for its unique decoration of human bones that was used to decorate the interior. It is an amazing and fascinating place to visit, although you should know that you are not allowed to take photographs in parts of the site.

The tour then continues to the city centre of Kutná Hora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. Here you will visit the Cathedral of St. Barbara, one of the most beautiful Gothic churches in Europe. This majestic cathedral was built in the 14th century and has beautiful stained glass windows, sculptures and frescoes. At these stops you will discover the city's mining past and curious stories of the Bohemian era.

Finally, you can visit the Mint, one of the oldest mints in Europe, which has been in operation since the 13th century. The tour also includes the possibility of a lunch menu of the day at a discounted price for the excursion. The whole tour is guided and we assure you that it will be a great complement to your visit to Prague!
